The Spin Star quilt features spinning stars and feather quilting. This quilt is made with Moda’s line of French General fabrics. This handmade quilt boasts a scalloped border and over 300 yards of hand-quilting, all quilted by one Pennsylvania Amish lady to insure uniform stitching. The quilt is initialed and dated.

Though the fabric pieces are stitched by machine to make sure tighter stitching, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton materials make up the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those 2 layers, nonetheless, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting warranties both heat and outstanding washing results.
Almost all of our quilts are sizable enough to overcome the necessity for a dust ruffle and pillow shams. Just as bed heights vary, each quilt's size varies. I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
