The Eureka quilt is an amazing arrangement of the intricate pieces that form a beautiful star pattern in the center of the quilt. This particular Eureka quilt beautifully showcases Moda’s Black Tie Affair fabric series. The fabric series combines gold, black, and burgundy shades into an attractive bedspread. The quilt includes 410 yards of hand-quilting, done by Mrs. Yoder. It is initialed and dated. This quilt will have a 18-inch drop per side on a king bed.

While the fabric pieces are stitched by machine to make sure tighter sewing, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics compose the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those 2 layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting warranties both heat as well as excellent washing results.
Almost all of our quilts are generous enough to relieve the need for a dust ruffle and pillow shams. Just as mattress heights vary, each quilt's proportions is different. You'll find we specify the quilt's dimensions in addition to the estimated drop for you to compare to the dimensions you want to have. I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
