This Star Wedding Ring quilt is a stunning product of Lancaster County’s fine quilters. The original Wedding Ring pattern now has stars bursting from between the rings. Take a closer look at the border, and you will see that the scallops follow the form of the rings. The quilt is hand-quilted with 292 yards of thread by one woman to ensure uniform stitching. On a queen bed, choose your drop measurement of 20 inches per side.

While the pieces of fabric are stitched with each other by machine to guarantee tighter sewing, all the quilting is done by hand. 100% cotton fabrics compose the top and bottom of the quilt. The batting sandwiched between those two layers, however, is 100% polyester. This polyester batting guaranties both heat and excellent washing results.
You will find our quilts to be remarkably large in length and width. The majority of our quilts are generous enough to do away with the need for a dust ruffle and pillow shams. Just as bed heights are different, each quilt's dimensions differs as well. We designate the quilt's measurements along with the estimated drop for you to compare to the overall size you want. I love my purple Lone Star Quilt…it was a big investment for me! I bought a Twin size that was listed as fitting a Queen and it did (using my ruffle). Thank you for having accurate measurements and good photos AND updated notes on availability. I found one a couple of years ago on another site out in PA and I ordered it and my card was charged. Then, I was called to say it wasn’t available and would be 6 months if I wanted it made. Your emails were great and was surprised by the fast delivery. PS. My grandma made lots of quilts – log cabin, lone star and many others about 25+ years ago….your quality is on par with hers.
