Weavertown School Kitchen Collections, published in 2015, is a second compilation of favorite recipes from the families and friends of Weavertown Mennonite School. This cookbook contains many traditional Amish and Mennonite recipes such as ham balls, sticky buns, and the famous shoo-fly pie.
About the school: Weavertown Mennonite School was founded in 1952. It began in the spreading glow of a spiritual revival in parents who developed a vision for a Bible-based and Christ-centered school. Their vision in the beginning was to have the home, church, and school working in agreement in child nurture and development.
The first of the series of cookbooks, Weavertown School Family Cooking, was published in 1995.
